Here are some pictures from the trip to Natural Bridge, VA.

We lost all the pictures we took in this trip because the memory car of our camera was broken.  These are the pictures I took with my cell phone.

Shenandoah, as it derived from a Native American expression for “Beautiful Daughter of the Stars”,  is very beautiful in the early spring.  The purple flowers of the redbud trees appear every branch.  While driving the car, Jim started to sing Country Road, Take Me Home from John Denver:

"Almost heaven, West Virginia,
Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah River.
Life is old there, older than the trees,
younger than the mountains
growin' like a breeze.

Ref.) country roads, Take me home to the place I belong.
West Virginia, Mountain momma, Country roads take me home

All my mem'ries, gather round her,
miner's lady, stranger to blue water.
Dark and dusty, painted on the sky,
misty taste of moonshine
teardrop in my eye.

Rit: country... Take me home,

I hear her voice in the morning hour she calls me,
the radio reminds me of my home far away
and driving down the road I get a feeling
that I should have been home yesterday, yesterday.

Ref.) Country roads........ "

(Left) Liam and the spinosaurus

It was our first time went to Dinosaur Land.  Although it was cloudy and chilly, Liam had a good time there.  Look, he paid attention to the uneven ground.

The road in the picture was built on top of the Natural Bridge.  A small path behind building on the right leads to the buttom of bridge

(Left) Beautiful bridge, Isn't It?

We went to the bridge, which is named as one of the seven natural wonders of the world.  The view was breathtaking.   At night, we went to the bridge and watched music and light show presented at dark.   It was a moving drama of creation, interpreted by some of the greatest symphonic compositions.  While we rode in the dark and searched for restaurants, there was a thunder storm.  Finally, we found a restaurant far from Natural Bridge.  Liam likes the bridge.  He drew a picture of it when we were eating dinner.  It was the bridge!  We recognized it right away.  We were amazed while we saw this beautiful drawing on the kids menu.  Unfortunately, Jim lost the picture after he showed it to his sister.

After spent a night at the hotel, We went to the bridge again in the next morning.

Very wet caverns

The caverns near Natural Bridge were very wet and cold.  It was told to be a haunted caverns.  A lady's scream was heard when workers were constructing the passage ways, but no lady was found.
